BCG Women's Agronomy Group

Ö Agronomic education
Ö Great guest speakers
Ö Informal discussion groups
Ö Fun and friendship

The BCG Women’s Agronomy Group is a fantastic BCG initiative that kicked off at the beginning of 2006.

After a highly successful Women’s Field Day at the end of 2005, a number of women indicated they would love some ongoing agronomic education, hence the Women’s Agronomy group was formed.

BCG invite you to join their Women's Agronomy Group
The Invergowrie Foundation The BCG Women’s Agronomy Group is generously supported by the Invergowrie Foundation which funds initiatives that focus on the education of women and girls.

The group meets on a bi-monthly basis at the Birchip Cropping Group building to discuss topical and relevant seasonal agronomic issues. The 2006 and 2007 meetings were very successful with over 30 women joining the group. The meetings are not only educational but have a social element as well.

All women are encouraged to come along to the meetings. If you are interested please contact the BCG by phone on 03 5492 2787 or email.

The fee structure is $20 annually for BCG members (this includes lunches and materials) and $120 for non-members.
