Agenda for operational family meetingsLyn Sykes and her colleagues developed the following agenda for operational family meetings:
Guidelines are:
- Decide the time, frequency and length of the operational family meetings. If longer than 1.5 hours and reasonably frequent, the "Direct" people will not continue to come
- Rotate the chair and the notetaker. Many notetakers use the pro forma agenda to record beside each heading.
- Choose where the meetings are to be held, and what will happen if someone can not attend.
- AGENDA:
a. Best thing since last meeting! b. Gripes (limit one gripe or one minute) no right of reply! c. Who, what, when, where and why in time ahead. d. Anything from last meeting? e. Finances. f. Triangles. g. Ideas anyone is having (no negative responses permitted). h. Any proposals.
