BCG Timeline
1995Tony Fay is employed with Agriculture Victoria based in Birchip.
The group has 200 members.
Trial work is conducted at Peter Doran’s property, and continues at those of Trevor Grogan and Keith Barber. The theme for our Main Field Day is ‘Turning mud into money’.
A number of new initiatives are tried. These include a field day for 500 school children between Years 8 and 10, a field day for women, a monthly bulletin for members and a one-day seminar on marketing of grain legumes in the Indian Sub-Continent.
