BCG Timeline
2006BCG welcomes Research Manager, David Moody. Alysa Attema and Karen Chapman join BCG as Technical Officers and Jodie Odgers as Project Officer. We employ Ingrid Taylor as Extension Officer and appoint Ben Jones and Bill Long as consultants.
After a long and valued association, we farewell Harm van Rees and Anne Jackman.
One of our founding members, David Smith, retires from the BCG Board while Robert Belford, Michael Dalling and Noel Meney join our Board as co-opted members.
The Victorian Minister for Agriculture, Bob Cameron, visits BCG for a seasonal update in May, and again in September with Premier Steve Bracks on their tour and consultation with drought-affected communities.
Continued funding from the State Government allows us to design further drought support initiatives and continue some from 2005.
The Women's Agronomy Group is established through support from the Invergowrie Foundation.
Landscaping in front of our office is complete and we officially open 'BCG Place'.
