Expo dinner attracts over 200 guests
The BCG Grains Research Expo dinner attracted over 200 guests and, combined with a semi casual format, provided a fantastic opportunity for industry professionals and farmers to socialise with each other well into the evening.

Professor Tim Reeves, the special guest speaker, left the audience feeling positive and optimistic about the future opportunities in agriculture. “Agriculture is the most noble profession” he said, “and what could be more noble that providing essential food for the worlds ever-increasing population”. While he said that taking advantage of these opportunities was not going to be achieved without challenge, he said that “world demand for food is going to continue to keep farmers profitable into the future”. Event manager Margaret O’Keefe said ‘it was a fantastic evening for both farmers and industry representatives to come together in a social setting and develop strong relationships’. Once again, Frances Lee and her professional team of caterers, waiter staff and hard-working helpers provided an amazing meal which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. |
