2009 BCG EXPO
|
This is the 14th BCG Grains Research Expo with each event built on the success of previous years. The Expo has an excellent reputation nationally as a key event for farmers, researchers, BCG corporate partners and industry providers. |
|
|
'We are very fortunate to have this high quality event on our doorstep,' said Ian McClelland, BCG Chairman. 'Our farming community can benefit enormously from the science, knowledge and intelligence that is presented in Birchip on Expo day. It gives us direct access to the most up-to-date information and technologies available in Australia. I urge everyone involved in farming to come to this signature event.' |

- balloon sculpturing
- face painting
- the Mallee CMA Waterwatch trailer and the opportunity to identify bugs and understand water quality.
Breakfast with the Governor-General & ABC
A sumptuous breakfast will be served by the Birchip P-12 School parents club – free of charge thanks to the Salvation Army and ABC.
BCG encourages everyone to come early to the Expo, enjoy an egg and bacon roll and witness the Governor General officially open the event. After formally launching the expo, Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce, AC, Governor-General, will take a tour to meet exhibitors and visitors to the 2009 event.
