BCG featured on ABC Landline

Since the ABC television program 'Landline' visited BCG 12 years ago, the group "has developed into something very special. It's now the country's premier 'farmer-driven' research group, with over 500 members, 26 staff, and a research budget in excess of $2 million. This year the group's Main Field Day went ahead despite the drought, with organisers declaring "while our dams might have dried up our ideas haven't".

That's how Landline introduced their report on BCG, when it went to air on Sunday 5 November 2006.

In October, Landline reporter, Pip Courtney, spent four days visiting BCG and farmers in the region. Pip attended our Main Field Day on 20 October 2006 to find out what BCG had been up to since she last visited in 1994.
