Birchip farmers feature in ABC's Four Corners 'Winds of Change' program

ABC's Four Corners program 'Winds of Change' aired Monday 17 March and tracked the shifting fortunes of five Birchip farming families as they face the vagaries of drought and the new reality of climate change.

The five farming families were those of Ian McClelland (BCGChairman), John Ferrier (BCG Treasurer) and Peter Ferrier, David and Ian Smith, Chris Rickard and Don McAllister.

The program discussed the BCG social research project 'Critical Breaking Point' and our Flexible Farming Systems project.
