Connectivity, Capability, Trust – creating farmer driven traceability for Victorian grain exports using precision agriculture

BCG are working towards improving agriculture’s understanding of ‘Big Data’ and how this can benefit farmers.

This has led to initial consultation around the development of a ‘Data Farmer Co-op’. In early 2017, Wimmera Mallee farmers heard from four leading industry experts during a workshop series, discussing practical applications of big data, supply chain value, legal implications and how cooperatives work.

Below is the final report for this component of the project. Further information about project progress was presented at the BCG Future Farmers Expo in July 2017.
