SUMMARY:Young Farmer Network Ball 2026 & Golf Afternoon
DESCRIPTION:Proudly supported by the Vic Drought Hub as part of the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund \nBCG is proud to present the 2026 Young Farmer Network Ball and this year’s event has officially sold out. \nFollowing two consecutive sold-out events\, the third annual formal evening has once again demonstrated the strength\, energy and connection within our regional agricultural community. \nFeaturing live music\, outstanding food and a thought-provoking panel discussion\, the ball celebrates the leadership\, resilience and innovation shaping agriculture’s future. While tickets for the evening are no longer available\, we look forward to welcoming a full room of growers\, industry professionals and community members for a memorable night. \n\nDate: Friday\, March 13\, 2026\nTime: 6:00pm- 11:00pm\nLocation: Horsham Golf Club\,\nDress Code: Formal\nTickets: $80pp \n\nA Day on the Green – Tickets Still Available ! \nMissed out on ball tickets? You can still be part of the weekend. \nOn Saturday\, the celebrations continue at the Horsham Golf Club with a relaxed 9-hole Ambrose competition. \n\nSaturday 14 March\nTee off: 1:30pm\n\nJoin a team or enter with your mates. It’s a great opportunity to connect\, unwind and continue the conversations from the night before. \nTickets for the golf day are still available – secure your spot before they close. \n\nPanel Discussion: Cod\, Carbon & Clothes: How the Next Generation is Rewriting Rural Industries \nWhat does a career in agriculture look like in 2026? \nIt’s no longer a single pathway. From aquaculture ventures emerging in regional communities\, to carbon advisory roles shaping farm decision making\, to rural apparel brands modernising for new markets\, a new generation is stepping into traditional industries and reshaping them from within. \nThis panel brings together three young professionals working across production\, sustainability and branding to explore how regional industries are evolving under market\, environmental and consumer pressure. Together\, they’ll unpack what’s changing\, where opportunity lies and what skills are becoming critical in modern agriculture. \nIf you’re building a career in ag or wondering what the future of regional industries looks like\, this conversation will challenge and expand your thinking. \nDress Code \nThe dress code is formal. \nEntertainment \nLive music throughout the evening. \nInspiring local leaders will share in a panel discussion. \nAttendance \nAnyone 18+ is invited. This is an opportunity to bring our rural communities together\, so the ball is open to farmers and their friends\, partners\, family and employees\, as well as industry and community. \nDon’t be discouraged to attend if you don’t consider yourself ‘young’ or a ‘farmer’. BCG’s Young Farmer Network is targeted at the youngest active generation on farm (regardless of age)\, but are open to everyone from farmers\, students\, those involved in the agricultural industry and rural community members. \nAccommodation \nWe encourage you to book a room for the night so you can continue to enjoy the region the next day. There are several accommodation options surrounding the venue. \nMore from BCG \nBecome a member of the BCG Young Farmer Network today for exclusive events and the latest opportunities in agriculture delivered straight to your inbox. \n  \n\n \nThis project is supported by the Vic Drought Hub as part of the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
