Optimising Spray Application Workshop

With nearly 30 years of experience, Craig has become one of the most highly sought-after trainers in chemical spray application.
This free workshop is sponsored by Grain Growers and will cover best practice spray application elements including:
- Nozzle selection, surfactants, pressures, spray quality, ISO standard
- Water quality
- Weather conditions, inversions, weather monitoring technology
- Spray planning- standard, pulse width modulated/3TS
- Fenceline spraying- best practice- hormesis: sub-lethal dosing consequences
- Decontamination- best practice protocol, catch points, managing spray jobs to minimise risk

There is also the opportunity for local farmers to book in an additional 1:1 on-farm visit with Craig on either Wed 12 or Thurs 13 Feb (maximum of 4 visits per day). Each visit will last for approximately 1.5 hours and the investment is $650 + GST. The visit involves Craig’s assistance in formulating personalised spray plans, as well as testing/calibration and fine tuning of machines.
