Matthew Lade grew up in Wodonga, and his passion for agriculture was sparked by visits to his grandparents cropping farm as a child. He holds a Bachelor of Agriculture Science from La Trobe University, Bundoora. Matt was attracted to BCG because of its reputation for delivering quality research and trials that are relevant to farmers in the region, helping to improve farming practices and management, and holds the position of Research Agronomist. Matt's research at BCG includes herbicides and pulse agronomy. In his free time, he enjoys camping, fishing and four-wheel-driving.
