BCG’s Industry Day is next Wednesday the 10th of August at Nullawil (Corner of Calder Highway and Burgins Road) from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
The day will deliver the latest on new products and research to agronomists and other industry representatives as well as provide a chance to catch up with a coffee out at BCG’s main research site. The program for the day includes a tour of BCG’s mega matrix with both pre-emergent and in-season herbicides, demonstrations of BASF’s Liberty Link canola & AGT’s CoAXium (Group 1 resistant) barley, a discussion with FMC about practical approaches to IPM strategies, the role of silicon application in crops as well as the latestdisease update from Agriculture Victoria staff
Leading the day is BCG’s Research and Extension Officer Kate Finger who said the event is not to be missed: “Each year we have a great group of industry professionals attend, there is always robust discussion about the latest findings and chemistries. I always look forward to the event as it’s another great way in which BCG can connect with our members, partners and community.”
“It’s also a great networking opportunity as there is always a broad range of people travelling to the event to access and discuss the latest industry developments. We will have a coffee van on site this year too as a thank you to those who contribute to and support our research each year.”
