Join BCG’s James Nuttall and CSIRO’s Mel Fraser for a hands-on morning crop walk.
Topics will include:
- Overview of soil amelioration treatments including deep ripping, spading and gypsum application.
- Trial walk and a closer look at four soil pits across different treatments
- Hands-on assessment of soil cores from different treatments at the site.
- Discussion around soil structure, water and nutrition on heavy soils.
Morning tea will be provided.
