The project aims to increase growers’ knowledge about growing pulses in North Central Vic and in turn increase the area grown to pulse crops.
With the adoption of grain pulses increasing in the north central it is important to understand what effects these crops have on the overall system while comparing to traditional break crops in the area. Additionally, the impact of end-use (grain, brown manure, fallow) will also be investigated from a legacy effect as well as economically.
