In 1992 a group of Birchip and district farmers set out to see agricultural research conducted on their own soil types with relatable weed burdens and climatic conditions. Twenty five years later, the Birchip Cropping Group (BCG) is a highly successful and innovative research and extension organisation with 20 full time staff.

BCG aims to improve the prosperity of Australia’s broadacre farmers through applied science-based research, and extension.

BCG continues to ensure that its 420 members in the Wimmera and Mallee have access to relevant and timely research and are supported in business decision making and risk management strategies.

BCG continues the evolutionary process of planning, reviewing and improving systems and procedures to achieve best practice in research and extension to deliver a high-quality service.

To achieve this, it is vital that BCG has a clear understanding of its Members and their needs.

BCG is currently seeking feedback from members with regards to the services, resources and events produced.

As a valued BCG member, we need your input so that we understand your needs, both in the short and long-term. We value your opinion and would appreciate a moment of your time to complete the survey.

Greater understanding of members will result in funding focused to meet the needs of members and attracting funding based upon those values.
