Birchip Cropping Group (BCG) will feature in a new radio segment on ABC Western Victoria.
Titled, ‘Talking Agtech’, the segment which is hosted by ABC radio presenter Dave Lennon, will focus on technology, research and innovation related to agriculture.
The first installment of ‘Talking AgTech’, which was broadcast on Tuesday, October 25 at 9.35am, featured BCG CEO Chris Sounness discussing emerging technologies such as ‘driverless’ tractors and some of the challenges around practical on-farm application.
Mr Sounness said barriers to the adoption of some new technologies centred around ‘connectivity, capability and trust‘.
The ‘Talking AgTech’ segment will be broadcast live every second Tuesday after the 9.30am news on ABC Western Victoria.
