BCG is seeking a grower who is interested in climate smart practices (eg containment feeding, technology, changes in grazing management, focus on reproduction) to host a demonstration site. The project explores how tools such as precision livestock monitoring, pasture and climate monitoring, regenerative and adaptive grazing, feed efficiency strategies and other innovations can:
- support better day-to-day and seasonal decisions
- improve flock health and productivity
- strengthen soil health and water management, and
- contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHGe) and increasing climate resilience.
