Working with you to address brome grass issues

Brome grass is common in southern Australia in low to medium rainfall environments, particularly with the adoption of no-till farming and early/dry sowing, making the Mallee, Wimmera, and North Central regions the ideal location for a brome grass invasion.

The difficulty lies in the control for growers, as staggered and delayed emergence makes it impossible to control brome grass with only pre- or post-emergent herbicides. Optimal control can be achieved through break crops, sowing herbicide tolerant varieties, or utilising a range of weed control tactics including seed-set control to drive the seedbank to low levels.
