BCG is pleased to welcome Hayden Collins to the team in a business and administrative support role.
Where are you from? How long have you been in the area? Previous roles, expertise?
I’m a typical Mallee boy through and through, I have resided in Birchip my entire life. My previous employ saw me working for a farm machinery distributor in an administration role.
What is your role at BCG and what will you be doing?Â
Just call me your Girl Friday, I am in the role of administrative and business support (I prefer director of first impressions), predominantly supporting the CEO’s office and the finance hub. I’m very happy to help with anything I can.
What are your interests outside work?Â
I adore the performing arts, at the first opportunity I am on the road travelling to theatre, ballet and opera.
What are you looking forward to whilst working at BCG?Â
I look forward to attaining a greater comprehension of BCG’s work and helping to achieve their goals of helping farmers, advisers and communities, while working within a great team.
What do you enjoy about living in Birchip?
I appreciate the freedom and space that comes with life in the Mallee. I never cease to be amazed at the tenacity of residents in our community to just get things done, whether it’s a small working-bee on a Sunday afternoon, or obtaining funding for a major community facility.
