What will you be doing at BCG?
I am assisting BCG Operations Manager, Kelly Angel, with the Sustainable Use of Insecticides Project, mainly helping with administration and reporting.
Tell us about your background: where are you from? What did you study and where?
I live on a farm in Boort with my husband Giles and daughter Sadie. I run an agriculture project management business Propagate Projects and have a background in research project management and policy development. I’ve got a Masters in Agricultural Science from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Agriculture Science from the University of Melbourne.
What are your interests outside of work?
I love horse riding, walking our dogs, coffee with friends and I really like reading. I run an online Book Club on Instagram called @catumnalbookclub, and we catch up monthly via group DM to discuss the latest book. Anyone is welcome to join!
What are you looking forward to in 2020?
Getting to know all the staff and projects at Birchip Cropping Group and a bit more rain in the region! Also, unfortunately, my beloved horse Hank passed away last year so I’m on a hunt for a new one in 2020!
