About BCG

Birchip Cropping Group Inc. (BCG) is a leader in applied grains research and extension. Based in the heart of the Wimmera, Mallee and North Central farming regions, BCG was established in 1992 by farmers seeking access to locally relevant grains research.

The town has excellent sporting facilities, water-based activities at nearby Tchum Lake, and a lively arts and music scene, including the annual Mali Heart festival, visiting cultural performances and regular local music events.
